Job Title: Residential Service Manager (Person in Charge)
Location: Edenvale Teach Rua Residential Service, Ennis, Co Clare
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract, 9 months, 39 hours per week
Job Purpose:
The Residential Service Manager will be responsible for the daily management of all aspects of operational delivery of the residential service. They will also act as the nominated Person in Charge and ensure the provision of high quality, responsive and sustainable services in accordance with HIQA regulations and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Management of relationships with key stakeholders, including Regional Managers
* Leadership of a team and coordination/direction of activities within the service
* Safeguarding and protection of all residents and tenants in the service
* Identification and implementation of an integrated approach to service delivery across the Group's suite of services in their network area
Requirements:
* Appropriate third level qualification or equivalent (NFQ8) in Health and Social Care
* Management qualification is essential
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in management or supervisory role in health or social care
* Experience of ensuring services are run in accordance with HIQA regulations
* Demonstrable knowledge of HIQA and relevant legislation, policies and procedures
