Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Manager, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at construction sites in County Kildare, Ireland. Duties include managing the construction team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, monitoring progress, coordinating with suppliers and sub-contractors, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.
1. Work as part of a Site Management team on construction projects from beginning to end and ensure all deadlines are met.
2. Manage resources to ensure that they are available when needed throughout the construction projects.
3. Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed.
4. Manage quality control for the lifecycle of the project and ensure all project documentation is managed correctly.
5. Ensure material and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule.
6. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation.
7. Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key team members of the project team.
Requirements
1. 2 Years experience in site management.
2. Setting out capabilities are an advantage (not a requirement).
3. Ability to read and understand design team Drawings & Specifications.
4. Good organisational skills required to organise, assign, and monitor works for crews.
5. Knowledge of and experience in working to Health and Safety regulations.
6. Ability to implement quality control procedures.
7. Be highly organised and able to work to Construction Schedules.
8. Good ability to convey tasks and ensure quality of outcome.
