Who are we looking for We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Platforms Technical Support Lead to join our Security Platforms team. In this role you will oversee the technical support team responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising Data Loss Prevention systems. This role requires a deep understanding of DLP technologies, leadership skills, and the ability to resolve complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will ensure the DLP platforms operate effectively to protect sensitive data and comply with organisational security policies. What you will be responsible for Leading and mentoring a team of technical support engineers specialising in DLP platforms Ensuring timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) Tuning and upgrading system components, following internal testing and change management processes Working with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance our risk-driven data protection Contributing to projects that improve current DLP capabilities, drive adoption, and enable future growth Conducting root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to DLP platforms Partnering within the Cyber Fusion Centre teams to ensure our DLP platforms meet operational needs, within DLP Program Operations, Insider Threat and Incident response What we value Experience operating and supporting DLP tools across multiple security domains such as: Network, Email, Endpoint and Web Exposure to, and knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms eg Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, Microsoft Purview Strong skills managing application deployments, configurations and updates running on Linux (RHEL) operating systems, with a strong knowledge of Linux Commands, files systems, permissions and process management Understanding and working knowledge of current data protection, information security and cyber security practices and techniques Direct experience managing, mentoring and leading teams Creating an environment that drives knowledge sharing and collaboration A collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving security A desire to learn, combined with a collaborative working style and strong personal work ethic Experience in a 24/7 security operations environment, emphasising reliability and system availability Education & Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a related field. A degree is not required for this role, but a qualification in information security or information systems may be beneficial Security certifications may be beneficial (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, GSEC or similar, relevant product certifications) Experience in financial services may be beneficial Additional Requirements This role may be filled in Ireland - Kilkenny or Dublin This team supports 24/7 operations which may require weekend work Are you the right candidate?
