RTÉ is seeking a Multimedia Co-Ordinator to join the RTÉ Player User Success team.

The User Success Team is responsible for managing user feedback, troubleshooting technical issues, quality assurance (QA) of our online video streaming service, and ensuring that content is seamlessly delivered across all platforms, including mobile phones, desktop devices, and big-screen TVs (Samsung, LG, Philips, and more).
Main Responsibilities: Quality assurance (QA) and Quality Customer Service for all services on multiple platforms and devicesEditorial decision making and ability to work in fast paced environmentTroubleshooting issues with efficient and timely escalation of issues and defects identified during QAContent publishing and monitoring to key platformsLive event scheduling and monitoringUser Acceptance Testing (UAT), new product development and ability to integrate new systems into day-to-day workflowsCollaboration with other departments across the organisationTo be successful in this role you will need: Strong organisational and project management skills, with an eye for detailExcellent communication abilities and a collaborative approachExperience in quality assurance, task management, or a related role within a digital or media environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in managing and presenting dataAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectivelyA qualification in media studies, software, project management, data science, technical or other related disciplineDesirable: Experience using content management systems (CMS)Previous experience working with a consumer digital product in an agile workflow environment, raising bugs, issue tracking, ticket creation, etc.Knowledge of the current streaming landscapeUnderstanding of RTÉ's role as a public media broadcasterThis role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of RTÉ Player as we expand our VOD and live streaming offerings.
The post involves a requirement to work various shifts over 7 days a week, depending on business needs.

This appointment will be offered on a full-time ongoing contract basis on the Multimedia Coordinator salary scale, from €46,140 to €60,259 gross per annum.
