Stafford Lynch is a leading sales, marketing, and distribution service provider in the Irish market who are seeking to recruit a Demand Planner to join our team.
This is a hybrid working role, 2 days office-based and 3 days working from home.
Position: Demand Planner Reporting to: Head of Operations Primary purpose of the role:This role will report into the Operations Manager and will Manage all aspects of product supply for a nominated list of Principals / Brands ( products/SKUs) to ensure product availability is consistently above 99% and that stock levels are in line with agreed business targets..
Principle duties and responsibilities: Produce and agree on six-month sales forecasts, factoring in promotional volumes and past stock shortages.
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to incorporate promotions and new listings into forecasts.
Manage purchase orders and shipments, ensuring timely supply to meet availability targets.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance, including delivery and freight cost tracking.
Review inventory regularly, addressing low/high stock levels and potential out-of-stock issues.
Provide timely and accurate reports to the business and Stakeholders.
Assist in the progression of company projects where needed.
Skills and Experience 3+ years of relevant planning experience, ideally in FMCG or food sectors.
Strong Excel and IT skills, with solid analytical and communication abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally and handle multiple priorities.
Degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred but not essential.
