Job Description:
We are seeking a part-qualified Accountant to join our team in Tralee, County Kerry. As an established practice, we work with a diverse client base, providing tax, returns, and yearly statements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax returns for clients across various industries.
2. Conduct audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
3. Manage bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
4. Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
5. Collaborate with senior accountants and partners to deliver comprehensive client services.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations.
7. Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
8. Provide excellent client service, addressing queries and offering financial advice.
9. Participate in continuous professional development to progress towards full qualification.
10. Demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
1. In-progress qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) in accounting or auditing.
2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
4. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
6. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
