We are looking for an experienced and dependable Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team in a busy Japanese restaurant. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a Japanese restaurant and be familiar with maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
2. Keep kitchen workstations, floors, and surfaces clean and organized.
3. Assist with basic food preparation as directed by kitchen staff.
4. Organize and store ingredients and supplies.
5. Manage waste disposal and recycling according to health and safety standards.
6. Restock kitchen and cleaning supplies as needed.
Requirements:
1. Experience as a Kitchen Porter, preferably in a Japanese restaurant or similar environment.
2. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
3. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene.
4. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
5. Positive attitude and readiness to support the kitchen team.
