One of Ireland's leading civil engineering contractors is currently looking for an Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join their team at their Meath office. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for civil engineering projects. Monitor project costs and support financial management throughout the project's lifecycle. Manage procurement processes and subcontractor relationships to ensure smooth project delivery. Oversee variations and ensure compliance with contract terms and client requirements. Liaise with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to address issues and maintain project momentum. Provide mentorship and support to junior quantity surveyors within the team. Requirements: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering sector. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. In-depth knowledge of contract management, cost control, and project finance. A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
