Health & Safety Advisor required to join Ireland's leading Civil Engineering Contractors working on projects in Dublin Port. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel on-site, as well as compliance with all relevant legislation and regulation. Role: Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and national regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards. Lead investigations into any accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Liaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and implementation of safety measures. Monitor and report on health and safety performance, ensuring continuous improvement in safety practices. Keep up to date with the latest health and safety legislation and industry trends and advise management on necessary changes. Requirements: A degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years experience in a health and safety role within the construction or civil engineering sector. Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations in Ireland. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
