Automation Engineer in Pharmaceuticals
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at our large-scale facility in Dublin. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to learn new technology and develop current skills within a fast-paced project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Building Automation System (BAS) and other Utility Automation Control systems.
* Assist with upgrade projects.
* Provide troubleshooting and hands-on support to resolve technical issues.
* Schedule and coordinate work to meet tight deadlines.
* Ensure equipment operates to its specifications.
* Create and execute test procedures and automation change controls.
* Liaise with installation/project engineers.
* Supervise engineering, vendors, and technical staff.
* Write reports and documentation.
* Develop work instructions.
* Maintain safe working conditions.
* Train maintenance and operative staff as necessary.
* Attend Software Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Testing.
* Maintain and develop change control systems.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or a related field.
* At least 5 years' experience providing Building Automation / Building Management system solutions and support to manufacturing organizations in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience during project delivery and operations support.
* Experience working with Air Handling Units (AHU) / HVAC and other critical utility systems such as cooling towers, compressors.
