The Opportunity
Join our Building Engineering team in Dublin and contribute to impactful projects across Ireland and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage structural engineering design teams, delivering projects from concept to construction.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary design partners, ensuring seamless integration of structural designs.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
* Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, and specifications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
* Represent Arup at client meetings, offering expert advice and developing innovative solutions.
* Champion sustainable design practices, contributing to a more resilient built environment.
Requirements:
* Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) with a proven track record in delivering complex structural engineering projects.
* Minimum 7 years of post-graduate experience in structural design.
* Strong technical skills and experience in all aspects of building structures, from conceptual design to construction.
* Excellent communication and report writing skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
* Proficiency in relevant design software packages.
