Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (Limerick)
Main Purpose and Objectives of Position:
The primary responsibility of the Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer is to provide daily support to production operations, clean utilities, and associated maintenance.

Personal Considerations: At times, the Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer may need to travel offsite to other locations, FAT/SAT support companies, conferences, or off-site training.
Educational Requirements: Honours Engineering Degree with relevant experience.
Role Requirements: 5-10 years working in biotech engineering, operations, or manufacturing with deep technical experience in specific unit operations related to biotech manufacturing. Knowledge of GMPs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide day-to-day operations support related to the site instrumentation.
2. Provide oversight of the calibrations performed in the CMMS.
3. Provide engineering support to both maintenance and operation in area of expertise.
4. Ensure maintenance program is appropriate for biotech operations.
5. Ensure maintenance measures are in place and take appropriate action.
6. Follow up on issues identified by either production or through the maintenance program.
7. Raise, investigate and complete deviations as appropriate.
8. Ensure the maintenance procedures are always appropriate and audit ready.
9. Ensure Job Plans, datasheets and the computerized Maintenance Management Systems are always appropriate and audit ready.
10. Provide technical leadership and progress improvement opportunities.
11. Provide direction to project engineering to ensure consistency with current practice and standard.
12. Be an enabler for improvements in process.
13. Identify and lead reliability improvements.
