Overall scope:
We are seeking a Quality Administrator (Maternity Cover) to join our team.
The Quality Administrator is responsible for ensuring our Quality Management System (QMS), is implemented, and our activities are aligned to Dole Ireland policy, internal audit, legal and customer trading requirements and obligations as identified by third party external audit.
Reports to:
The Quality Manager and The General Manager
Key internal and external relationships:
Internal relationships – Quality & Technical, NPD, Sales, Production, and Operations. External interactions across relevant supply partners, DAFM, Bord Bia, Teagasc, and third-party Audit facilitators.
Key responsibilities
Major responsibilities include:
* On the ground presence and representative of the Quality Management Team (QMT).
* Support QMT function in terms of active involvement and completion of specifications, in line with timely customer needs.
* Support QMT function in terms of conducting internal and external/third party audits.
* Support QMT function in terms of closing out internal and external/third party audits and non-Conformances raised.
* Day to Day Support growing, packing, Goods IN/Despatch teams on the ground ensuring legal, compliance and customer specs/requirements are being met.
* Support QM function in management and process flow of approving suppliers and raw materials and understanding varied ‘supplier’ for customer requirements.
* Assist further development of QMT, be the QMT best practice member and drive continuous improvement and ‘Quality Culture’ on our sites.
* Minimise risk arising from non-conformance and maximise profitable sales by implementing all procedures and standards as outlined in our QMS. Key Experiences and Skills:
Key Experiences and Skills
* An interest in Horticulture is preferable.
* An understanding of Quality and standards of product to retail supply.
* An understanding of HACCP principles and or training in is preferable but not essential.
* Ability to organise work effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Fluent English speaker, and proficient Microsoft suite user.
* Detail oriented with a strong work ethic, and commercial drive.
* Can do solution-based approach with dedication and drive to meet tight deadlines.
