An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented BDR to join a leading packaging distributor with a growing presence in the Irish and European markets. Based in Greystones, this role offers a dynamic and varied territory sales position, focusing on both managing existing accounts and driving new business across the South of Ireland. Hybrid model (2 days onsite but sometimes can be half a day, very flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a strategic business plan for the allocated territory to maximize sales and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
* Achieve and exceed regional sales and profit targets.
* Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, building strong relationships throughout the client organization.
* Utilize CRM systems (Dynamics) to manage sales leads, inquiries, and quotes effectively.
* Provide tailored packaging solutions based on clients' needs, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the full product range.
* Collaborate constructively with internal teams across sales, logistics, and procurement to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
* Minimum of two years' experience in a similar field-based sales role, preferably within the packaging or related sectors (logistics, suppliers, MRO, stationary...)
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* A consultative approach to sales with a focus on delivering value to customers.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems.
* Driver's licence is essential
