As a key member of our team, you will contribute to expanding product offerings, developing lead generation strategies, bridging the gap between online and retail sales channels, leading market research efforts, and contributing to ad hoc digital projects.
Responsibilities:Lead GenerationCollaborate with the sales team to enhance lead engagement and optimise the sales funnel.Maintain accurate CRM records of lead interactions and progress.Develop and refine lead generation strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis.Product DevelopmentMonitor and analyse product performance metrics, generating insights for continuous improvement.Identify growth opportunities in online products, prioritising higher-margin offerings.Stay informed on emerging products and trends, leveraging trade events, seminars, and supplier networks to expand offerings.Collaboration and TrainingWork closely with digital marketing, sales, and customer service teams to promote products effectively.Develop and deliver training programs, including manuals, presentations, and workshops, to enhance team expertise in product offerings.Market Research and Competitor AnalysisConduct thorough market research on customer preferences, travel patterns, and emerging destinations.Evaluate competitor pricing, promotions, and positioning, and share actionable insights through detailed reports.Execute "secret shopper" investigations to benchmark against competitors.Pricing and Revenue ManagementDevelop competitive pricing strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining value.Monitor product performance, adjusting offerings or pricing as needed to align with market demand.Data Analytics and ReportingCreate dashboards and reports to track performance metrics and customer trends.Use analytics tools to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.Ad Hoc Digital Marketing and ProjectsSupport management with online research, digital marketing initiatives, and ad hoc projects to drive business development.Qualifications and SkillsEducationBachelor's degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, a related field or equivalent experience.ExperienceMinimum 5 years in product management, travel planning, or a related role in the travel industry.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of retail travel operations and online booking platforms (e.g., GDS, PMS systems).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics tools.Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM systems.Soft SkillsExcellent organizational, communication, and negotiation abilities.Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple projects.Additional InformationThe role is a full-time position.Training and practical experience will be given.A high standard of written and spoken English is required.
