Job Title: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager 4* Cork
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at a 4-star hotel in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in managing all aspects of food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, and banquet facilities.
* Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
* Maintain and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Oversee the training and development of food and beverage staff, including performance management.
* Manage customer issues and concerns, and take corrective action when necessary.
* Ensure high-quality food and beverage products are prepared and presented in a timely manner.
* Coordinate and execute banquets and events.
* Collaborate with hotel teams on sales, health and safety, customer care, and sustainability.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a busy 4/5-star hotel.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation.
* Reliable, committed, motivated, and professional individual.
