IT Compliance Manager PURPOSE OF ROLE We are seeking an experienced IT Compliance Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organisation's IT systems and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and security of our IT infrastructure while promoting a culture of compliance within the organisation.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement, and maintain IT compliance policies and procedures in line with legislation and industry best practices (e.g., GDPR, NIS2).
Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Monitor IT systems and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Promote a culture of compliance within the Company through awareness campaigns and training initiatives.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure a unified approach to compliance and risk management.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT compliance-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Investigate compliance incidents and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and reporting.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, policies, and procedures.
Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Stay abreast of developments in IT compliance regulations and industry standards and amend policies / procedures accordingly.

Self-starter highly motivated with the ability to prioritize Good communication skills (verbal & written) REQUIREMENTS Minimum qualification at Degree level in compliance or related fields, desirable and/ or previous experience (min 3 yrs) in an IT Compliance Capacity.
Auditing qualification and /or experience an advantage.
GDPR and / or NIS2 compliance experience an advantage.
Ability to demonstrate sound technical knowledge of the regulatory landscape would be preferable.
Strong IT Skills with a good working knowledge and experience of network administration, cybersecurity, data protection, Microsoft 365 administration and Microsoft Azure administration.
