In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing Trend Micro's Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. You will ensure the integrity, completeness, and reliability of our ESG data to ensure compliance with ESG standards and frameworks. Your primary focus will be to help Trend Micro manage our sustainability strategy to meet new regulatory requirements, enhance transparency in non-financial reporting, and integrate sustainability aspects into business processes. Additionally, you will establish this new domain within the Finance organization and act as a business partner for various functions impacted by new ESG legislation.The Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations and standards, in particular CSRD.Implement the company's ESG strategy.Establish a process to monitor and report on the company's GHG emissions in line with the GHG Protocol.Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on ESG performance and initiatives.Effectively engage and build cooperative relationships across all functions and the value chain.Design, implement, and monitor ESG data collection and reporting processes ensuring high reliability of ESG reported data.Support internal and external ESG audits, ensuring proper controls and assurance processes are in place.Design and implement carbon reduction strategies and energy optimization initiatives.Mentor and support junior team members, fostering growth and expertise in ESG and sustainability practices.Stay updated on emerging sustainability trend and legislation.Implement change management processes to support the adoption of new ESG reporting practices and data management tools.You Are:A confident and credible communicator, displaying technical knowledge and commercial understanding.An excellent team player with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.Adaptable and open to change, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.You Have:Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or a related field.Significant experience in ESG Reporting.In-depth understanding of ESG trends and regulations such as CSRD and EU taxonomy.Familiarity with voluntary ESG frameworks such as SBTi, SASB and UN SDGs.Strong knowledge of the GHG Protocol.Familiarity with sustainability reporting platforms and data management systems.Strong analytical, excellent communication, collaborative ideas, strategic thinking, and coaching abilities.#LI-CM1At Trend Micro, we embrace change, empower people, and encourage innovation in a connected world.
