Execution Services Counterparty Relationship Manager
Fidelity Digital Asset Services is an exciting new business unit that is focused on bringing emerging concepts to life in the digital asset arena and delivering those solutions to Fidelity clients and prospects. The Counterparty Relationship Manager will be a part of the Executions Services Team, who have overall responsibility for ensuring optimal trade flow, pricing, and liquidity oversight, while managing the operational aspects of our clients’ trading activities. The Counterparty Relationship Manager (CRM) will focus on all aspects of our relationships with our trading counterparties and ensure that we derive the maximum value for our clients. You will work with the US based CRM and broader Execution Services team to closely monitor the pricing and quality of trade executions and provide feedback to our trading counterparties on same. You will directly engage with them to address any gaps in services and identify and track areas of improvement. The CRM will work closely with our Product Strategy team as they assess and onboard new trading counterparties. You will be the point of contact for our counterparties and the SME for the FDA team. The CRM should be prepared to create and implement a strong relationship management program strategy from the outset.
To be successful, you will build strong working relationships within Execution Services and across the broader FDA organization providing leadership on all matters related to our counterparty relationships. You will also deliver expertise and ideas regarding key industry topics that include product, platform, technology, operations, and business management principles. With your knowledge and commitment, you will become a collaborative and resourceful member of the FDA team, sharing best practices, driving strategy and successful results.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline preferred, understanding of or experience with digital assets a bonus
* 7+ years of relationship management and electronic trading experience in the financial services industry
* In depth understanding of trading technology, trading methodology, liquidity management, counterparty risk, trade flow and operations
* Relationship building skills across business partners, external stakeholders, teams, business unit and the broader Fidelity organisation.
* Experience communicating with and delivering information to various levels of the organisation
* Extensive experience in defining, leading and delivering strategic solutions and capabilities within a dynamic and growing business
* Experience working within a SOC-1 environment with clear demonstration and understanding of procedures, controls and risk based frameworks
* A global mindset with awareness of a 24x7 market environment, participating in a follow the sun staffing model
* Strong analytical skills and comfort with interpreting and building data sets to illustrate trading behaviors and performance
