The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team at Phorest as an Event Sales Executive. This role will primarily involve selling tickets for our conferences (The Salon Owners Summit being our main event of the year) and events to individuals and groups across the globe. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and have a passion for sales. This role provides ample opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
The Salon Owners Summit
The Salon Owner Summit is the largest industry conference across the UK and Ireland, attracting 600 international salon owners, managers, industry professionals, and press. It’s a two-day event that focuses on growth-driven education, helps build connections, and is a staple in the industry’s event calendar. Now in its 9th year, the event has grown in size and continues to strive to grow in calibre.

What You'll Do
* Generate leads and identify potential customers interested in attending our conferences and events while maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat attendance.
* Contact prospective clients via phone, email, and other communication channels to promote ticket sales.
* Provide detailed information about event agendas, speakers, and benefits of attending to potential customers.
* Close sales and process ticket orders accurately and efficiently.
* Manage event registrations, including processing registrations, issuing tickets, and responding to inquiries from attendees.
* Maintain accurate attendee databases and records, including managing registration data and generating attendee reports as needed.
* Meet or exceed sales targets and goals set by the management.
* Provide administrative support to the Global Events Manager, including pre + post event activities along with on-site support.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional materials.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Who You Are
* 1+ years of professional experience in a sales or business development role.
* A degree in business, marketing, or related fields is advantageous.
* Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.
* Interest in conference and events management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and effectively.
* Knowledge of the salon, beauty, or wellness industry is a plus but not required.
