Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to and advocate for improvements in both the Camera Product and the Assembly and Test Process.
2. Progress our characterization of the Camera Product and Process; understanding how critical factors impact the production and lifetime performance of the cameras.
3. Encourage a cross-functional and collaborative mindset within the project teams, leading to better breadth and depth of knowledge of the Product and Process Platform.
4. Ensure all Product and Process requirements are clearly defined and understood by the relevant project functions.
5. Support technical communications with customers and suppliers when required.
6. Facilitate in defining the data capture points and the associated analytical tools. Provide technical assessment of the data and react accordingly.
7. Support business growth opportunities by analyzing stakeholder requirements and comparing them to current Camera Platform capabilities. Highlight areas of technical risk, challenge requirements where appropriate, and indicate areas where further investment or improvement are needed.
8. Demonstrate Continuous Improvement with a Data Driven approach to problem-solving. Encourage and support the creation of feedback loops that support timely decision-making.
9. Ensure lessons learned from both product and process developments on previous projects are considered.
Qualifications:
1. Degree/Diploma in Electronics/Computer/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Equivalent.
2. Previous experience in similar domains is preferred but not essential.
3. The role is suited for graduates and candidates with <3 years industry experience.
4. Desire to grow into a technical leadership role with responsibility for product delivery.
5. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Design and Agile principles.
