Job Description:
The Community Centre Manager is responsible for the overall management of the daily operations of one or more Community Centres in the Fingal area. This includes reporting to the Board/Representatives of the Board, managing client engagement and activities, and general staff management. You will be the main point of contact for the Centres and will strive to meet the needs of the diverse local communities in an inclusive way through the provision of space that supports participation in sport, leisure, educational, and recreational activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Act as the main point of contact for Community Centres.
2. Report directly to the Board of Management/Representative on strategic planning, financial matters, pricing, and staff issues on a monthly basis.
3. Develop Business and Marketing Plans to enhance income streams and promote community engagement.
4. Build close working relationships with all stakeholders.
5. Implement evacuation and emergency procedures.
6. Ensure effective maintenance of the building, including supervising contractors.
7. Manage the Centre’s budgets and ensure financial systems are adhered to.
8. Apply for relevant grants and funding to ensure financial sustainability.
9. Oversee recruitment, selection, and daily management of staff.
10. Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines.
11. Oversee timely invoicing of all clients.
