Job Title: Product Engineer

The role of a Product Engineer is to promote the application of best practices to deliver robust processes. This involves establishing and implementing metrics to determine and control process stability.

Key Responsibilities:
">

1. Lead investigation of process problems, taking corrective action where deviation occurs.
">
2. Investigate and issue written reports on non-conformances relating to product quality.
">
3. Identify and investigate opportunities for cost improvements to achieve agreed targets.
">
4. Obtain internal & external approvals for process improvement changes.
">
5. Measure and monitor scrap quantities and reasons, working with the team to minimize scrap rates.
">
6. Define specifications for new equipment purchase / modifications and sign off on qualification / acceptance.
">
7. Implement Process Improvements and monitor successful achievement of proposed savings.
">

8. Requirements:
">
9. A minimum of 3 years experience working in a production / process engineering role.
">
10. A degree in Production, Materials or Mechanical Engineering.
">
11. Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
">
12. Competent communication & report writing skills.
">
13. Project Management experience is an advantage.
