Your primary responsibility will be processing fortnightly payroll for approximately 300 staff members and pensioners, ensuring compliance with policies set by Revenue and the organisation. You will also prepare necessary reconciliations, returns, high-quality reports, and ad-hoc returns to external stakeholders. Your role will extend beyond payroll, contributing to robust internal controls, driving policies, supporting grant administration, and collaborating on continuous improvement projects. Process fortnightly payroll and deductions for staff and pensioners Ensure compliance with policies set by Revenue and the organisation Prepare necessary reconciliations and returns such as Pension and CSO in line with deadlines Provide high-quality reports and ad-hoc returns to external stakeholders Contribute to robust internal controls and audit standards Drive existing and new policies and procedures Collaborate on projects as part of a continuous improvement program Requirements of the Payroll Supervisor Job include: The ideal candidate for this Payroll Supervisor Job will hold a minimum of an NFQ degree level 7 qualification. You should have at least five years of relevant Irish Payroll experience, with three of those years spent in a finance role. Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills are essential for this position. As a team player, you should possess strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to proactively contribute to team tasks. Your strong stakeholder management skills will enable you to build rapport effectively while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
