We are looking for a Financial Administrator to manage our financial operations efficiently and accurately. This part-time role involves 12 hours a week with flexible working hours, ideal for an experienced financial professional seeking work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage weekly payroll for all staff.
2. Process and manage supplier invoices, addressing and resolving any queries efficiently.
3. Serve as the main contact for remittance advice, ensuring clear and effective communication.
4. Manage payment runs and complete regular bank reconciliations.
5. Conduct month-end close-off procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
6. Handle credit control tasks, including follow-up on outstanding payments.
7. Assist in tracking and reporting on grants or funding received, ensuring compliance with financial requirements of funders.
8. Maintain cash flow projections to support planning and funding needs.
9. Work with leadership to develop or update financial policies and procedures as needed, ensuring clarity and compliance.
10. Offer insights for improving or streamlining current financial processes and workflows, especially with accounting software or payroll system usage.
11. Prepare financial reports for funders, providing clear and detailed insights.
12. Provide financial data or analysis as requested by the Director of Programming or other team members to inform decision-making on budgets and projections.
13. Coordinate annual audit preparations and assist auditors as needed.
