Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager
Central, a global designer and manufacturer of Modular Infrastructure, seeks an EHS Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our EHS programs.
* EHS Program Development and Compliance
o Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies and procedures in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
o Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and reviews of safety practices across the business to ensure adherence to internal and external standards.
o Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (OSHA, EPA, local regulations) and industry best practices in modular manufacturing and high-voltage engineering environments.
* Health and Safety Leadership
o Drive the development of a proactive safety culture by embedding EHS into daily operations, with strong alignment to Lean and Continuous Improvement practices (e.g., TPM, IL6S).
o Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and management to raise awareness and competence in safe work practices, including emergency preparedness and high-risk activities.
* Environmental Sustainability Initiatives
o Develop and lead environmental initiatives aligned with Cental's sustainability goals, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon-neutrality projects.
o Monitor environmental impacts, including air, water, and soil quality, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
* Risk Management and Mitigation
o Manage hazard identification processes and implement strategies for reducing workplace risks associated with heavy engineering, high-voltage work, and modular construction activities.
o Lead emergency preparedness and response plans, including fire safety, evacuation drills, and hazardous material management.
* Continuous Improvement and Lean Integration
o Partner with operations and engineering teams to integrate EHS principles into Lean manufacturing methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, and TPM.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to benchmark best practices and enhance EHS performance metrics in line with the Ideal Factory vision.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's preferred).
* Minimum of 5+ years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing, heavy engineering, or modular construction environment.
* Strong knowledge of EHS regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, EPA standards).
