About the Team
Our engineers are pivotal to our accomplishments, orchestrating every aspect from design to delivery. The BIM/CAD Technician will be integral in bridging the gap between our management, sales, and engineering units, driving forward our passion for sustainable wastewater plants and off-site manufacturing. This role is crucial in advancing our quest for reduced emissions, cost efficiency, and excellence in quality and safety. What You'll Do
Develop detailed BIM models and CAD drawings for wastewater treatment systems, pumping stations, and precast structures. Collaborate with engineers to understand and meet project specifications and design requirements. Interface with management and sales teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility within proposals.Additional Responsibilities Include:
* Provide technical support for both in-house teams and clients.
* Participate in the review and improvement of design and manufacturing processes.
* Assist in the creation of virtual models for project planning and client presentations.
Requirements
Degree or certification in a related field, such as Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, or similar. Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) and other related modeling tools. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse teams.
Experience in the water and wastewater industry. Familiarity with Irish or UK construction and water standards. A collaborative spirit, ready to work towards shared goals.
