Salary: NCAD Grade V Salary Scale: €51,211 - €61,251 per annum pro-rata*
*Candidates should note that as per Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform guidelines, entry will be at the minimum point of the scale and the rate of remuneration will not be subject to negotiation and may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy.
Different terms and conditions may apply if you are a currently serving civil or public servant. Annual Leave: Annual Leave will be 25 working days per annum pro-rata.
This leave is exclusive of public holidays.
Hours of Attendance: Working hours will be 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday (net of rest breaks).
Location: This position facilitates remote working options with a requirement to attend NCAD Offices and/or other locations to meet project partners.
The NCAD office is located at NCAD Campus, 100 Thomas Street, Dublin 8.
POSITION SUMMARY About the Role This role is funded through Creative Ireland for a period of 8 months.
The Co-ordinator will be responsible for project managing the rollout and delivery of this innovative, climate change, design-thinking programme, called "Creative Boardroom – Collaborate4Climate".
Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate is an urgent call to action in the face of one of the most pressing challenges of our time: climate change.
Funded through Creative Ireland's Creative Climate Action Fund, it is a pioneering all-island collaboration between The Institute of Directors Ireland, The Institute of Directors Northern Ireland, and Creative Futures Academy.
The Lead Partner in the Project is Creative Futures Academy @NCAD (CFA), a ground-breaking partnership between three leading creative institutions: The National College of Art and Design, University College Dublin, and the Institute of Art, Design + Technology.
The Institute of Directors in Ireland is the leading membership body for company directors and business leaders.
Its purpose is to instil stakeholder trust and confidence in organisations by educating, informing, and supporting directors and business leaders to lead successfully.
Role CFA/NCAD is now looking to appoint a full-time coordinator from May to December 2025 to manage the rollout and development of the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate Climate Action project funded by Creative Ireland.
The post holder will work with and report to the project steering group.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Overview: This role has been established through Creative Ireland funding and is a funded position for 8 months.
The Co-ordinator will be responsible for project managing the rollout and delivery of the Creative Boardroom – Collaborate for Change programme.
Project manage the rollout and development of the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate programme, working with the Project Steering Group to devise a project plan and timeline ensuring key milestones are met.Provide administrative support to academics, the Project Steering Group, and other key personnel involved in delivering the programme.Project promotion including preparation and dissemination of communication materials on and offline.Manage logistics related to the project: venue booking, coordination of speakers, workshop materials, exhibitions, talks, and events.Generate regular reports linked to project metrics for the steering committee, funders, and stakeholders.Oversee the evaluation of Phase 2 activities across participating organisations and stakeholders.Coordinate the delivery of workshops, webinars, and exhibitions, including oversight of procurement and monitoring spend against budget.Manage the project budget, providing regular updates to the steering committee.Work with Student Services & Admissions to support participants and students in respect of application, admission and registration to the programme.Selection Criteria Selection criteria outline the qualifications, skills, knowledge and/or experience that the successful candidate would need to demonstrate for successful discharge of the responsibilities of the post.
