Service Delivery Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Manager to join our team in Galway City. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team, implementing business strategy, ensuring quality and compliance, engaging with stakeholders, and providing operational leadership.
Responsibilities:
* Planning & Development of Services
o Implement business strategy and annual action plans, developing and delivering local business plans.
o Support the Regional Manager in strategic aims, planning, and change management.
o Collect, analyze, and report data, ensuring accountability for service delivery.
o Ensure services adapt to community needs, fostering strong local partnerships.
o Promote the service through media, presentations, and community engagement.
o Plan, implement, and deliver money management education programs as required.
* Personnel Management
o Recruit, manage, and supervise staff, ensuring balanced workloads.
o Oversee staff performance, training, and development in line with policies.
o Foster team cohesion and communication through meetings and collaboration.
o Manage Health & Safety and Facilities at the local level.
o Maintain personnel and company records per policy and legal requirements.
* Quality Management
o Implement and uphold best practice standards for Money Advice & Budgeting.
o Support staff in delivering high-quality advice through training and mentoring.
o Conduct client case reviews, provide feedback, and ensure compliance.
o Ensure clients receive comprehensive advice on all available options.
o Monitor client feedback and report findings to the Regional Manager.
o Maintain data security and compliance with legislative requirements.
o Carry a client caseload if service demands require.
* Additional Responsibilities
o Attend seminars and meetings as directed.
o Undertake additional duties relevant to the role.
o Provide short-term cover for the Regional Manager or other managers as needed.
o Adaptability and flexibility required due to the evolving nature of the role.
Requirements:
* A minimum of Level 8 (3rd level qualification) in Money Advice, Finance, Human Resources, Quality Management, or Community Development.
* Or, 3 years of management experience in either Money Advice, Debt Management, Personnel Management, Finance, or Quality Management.
* Or, NFQ minimum level 7 in one of the above disciplines and 5 years of work experience in one or more of the above areas.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
* Demonstrated expertise and experience in money advice, budgeting, and debt management particularly in the area of consumer debt.
* Demonstrated team leadership and experience of personnel management.
* Excellent ICT skills and experience of software systems including Case Management and HR packages.
* Experience of working with a diversity of individuals and groups particularly people experiencing difficulty coping with their situation.
* Capacity to develop and implement organisational plans and policy and provide written management reports on activities.
* Experience of personal insolvency, financial services, voluntary and statutory debt resolutions (desired).
* Experience in change management (desired).
* Experience in social policy and advocating for change (desired).
* Experience of public funding and community and voluntary sector (desired).
