Job Summary
This role involves providing third-line support to end-users on all ICT-related tasks, ensuring ICT Support systems are up to date, and troubleshooting physical and virtual server issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 3rd-line support to end-users over the phone and at the desk for ICT-related tasks
* Maintain and update ICT Support systems
* Troubleshoot physical and virtual server issues
* Troubleshoot software-related problems
* Install ICT hardware and software
* Cooperate with external support companies for escalated ICT Infrastructure calls
* Participate in the ICT Department's on-call roster
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience working on an Infrastructure Team
* Installation, maintenance, and support of hardware and software servers
* In-depth knowledge of Windows and Microsoft software
* Deep understanding of Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 and Microsoft software
* Detailed knowledge of VMware
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
* Good understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
* Experience with backup systems
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
* Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
