As a member of our team, you'll collaborate with a diverse and inclusive group of Designers, Architects, and Engineers. In this transformative two-year program, you'll work on developing design concepts for Feasibility, Concept, Basic Design, Site Master Planning Studies, and detail design information. Your focus will be on the technical aspects of projects, with a particular emphasis on those related to the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry.

What You'll Do
1. Collaborate with our prestigious clients, global brand leaders in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
2. Work alongside a dedicated group of industry professionals who are passionate about delivering state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facilities.
3. Attend project and construction meetings in-office and onsite.
4. Play a key role in shaping HVAC and Utility designs for the life sciences sector, engaging in engineering design reviews that encompass GMP, safety, operational, and maintenance considerations.
5. Utilise state-of-the-art computer-assisted engineering and design software to craft detailed engineering documents, working in collaboration with the BIM engineering team to develop immersive 3D models of HVAC and Utility installation equipment design.
6. Take an active part in researching design options and presenting findings to senior building services engineers and line managers, contributing valuable insights to the decision-making process.
7. Participates in engineering design reviews (GMP, safety, operational, maintenance).
8. Research design options and documents.
9. Ensure that drawings and designs align with IPS engineering and design standards, fostering a commitment to excellence and innovation.
10. Assist in the preparation of various design deliverables, including Air & Instrumentation Diagrams, Utility generation and distribution instrumentation diagrams, HVAC Zoning and pressure profile drawings, and Utility and Building Load calculations.
11. Contribute to the development of equipment data sheets for Boilers, Chillers, AHUs, and in-line pipework and ductwork distribution equipment, showcasing technical requisition and scope of work documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements
12. Level 8 Hons Degree in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
13. A commitment to attaining further professional development within the next three years, with support provided by the company.
14. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
15. Strong oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on fostering a communicative and inclusive workplace.
16. Proven skills in computer operation for engineering design programs and computer-aided drafting.
