We are currently recruiting for Residential Rehabilitation Assistants to join our team in our community-based residential rehabilitation services. Our staff are driven by the desire to maximise the abilities of individuals living with brain injury, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.

Role Responsibilities
The role of the Residential Rehabilitation Assistant is to support and assist people with acquired brain injury in every aspect of activities of daily living, enabling them to live valued lives of optimal independence and participation in activities within the community.
1. Form a therapeutic relationship and rapport with the person served and maintain a positive, constructive, and professional relationship.
2. Facilitate and co-ordinate the daily independence of the person served within the service/community by working with them and their family in formulating their Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP).
3. Assist and encourage the person served to achieve their goals as identified in their IRP's.
4. Assist the person served with budgeting, money management, and disability benefits where applicable in line with Organisational policy.
5. Record and document daily activities, reports, and reviews via the iPlanit system.
Requirements
* A relevant Health or Social Care qualification to a minimum QQI Level 5 standard.
* A full driving licence.
* A person-centred approach to supporting people with an acquired brain injury.
* Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
* Ability to write and speak English to a high standard.
* Good IT skills.
