Position Overview:
The School of Engineering seeks to make the Tenure Track appointment of an Assistant Professor in Climate Adaptation Engineering. This new appointment will help deliver our 5-year integrated Civil Engineering MAI degree and our new E3 MSc in Climate Adaptation Engineering.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including (but not limited to) the teaching of Climate Adaptation Engineering. Additionally, they are expected to seek research funding actively as an independent investigator and to undertake postgraduate research supervision.

Post Status:
Tenure Track - This position is a Tenure Track position which is 5-years in the first instance. Permanency is subject to satisfying the tenure requirements.
Salary:
Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale (109BN), commensurate with qualifications/experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy [€41,000 to €98,564 per annum].
