Description
The Position:
We are currently recruiting for a full time PMO Co-Ordinator. This role will report directly to the Head of Project Delivery and will be responsible for project governance, assurance, and delivery support to the Project Delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance to the Project Delivery Framework, tools & processes highlighting any gaps/non-compliance to Head of Project Delivery.
* Support project assurance, co-ordinating quality gate reviews with PMs, Head of Project Delivery & Project Sponsors.
* Maintain and continually improve governance processes, procedures, and templates.
* Maintain and continually improve Project Delivery document repository.
* Manage project library supporting maintenance of the Project Delivery team SharePoint site.
* Facilitate portfolio tracking and reporting, ensuring quality and accuracy of report information by challenging and supporting Project Managers to align to PMO standards.
* Preparation and presentation of strategic insights report for monthly internal Senior Leadership meeting.
* Collate and maintain portfolio RAID logs, lessons learned logs, etc. ensuring central repository for project data.
* Monitor deliverables working with the Head of Project Delivery, Project Managers and Portfolio Managers to ensure deliverables are completed on time and acceptance is received.
* Support onboarding of new project team members including orientation and system access.
* Maintain the Project Delivery team holiday planner.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role as PMO co-ordinator providing governance, assurance, and delivery support.
* Experience in working in large enterprise organisations, preferably within IT industry.
* Demonstrated ability in supporting Governance of a wide range of Project Delivery services.
* Business Intelligence data analysis experience.
* Demonstrated capability for problem solving and decision making.
* Experience assisting/working with PMO, PMs and project teams.
* Experience in collaborative evaluation of project status, providing insightful challenge to ensure transparent and accurate project reporting.
* Experience using planning tools such as MS Project or Projector.
Preferred Experience:
Certified in or knowledge of PMO and/or Project Management methodologies such as Prince2 or P3O.
Required Skills:
* Proficient in MS Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint and Smartsheet.
* Possess a good understanding of project management.
* Excellent planning, organisational, problem solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to develop knowledge base, templates, presentations.
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
* Team player with excellent inter-personal communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines.
