We would like to invite applications for the role of Neuro Rehabilitation in Beaumont Lodge Transitional Care Unit, Dublin 05.Principal Responsibilities:Work as a key member of the multidisciplinary Beaumont Lodge Team providing a person-centred quality service to patients and this specialist practice will encompass a major clinical focus which comprises assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care given patients and their families.The Clinical Nurse Specialist Neurorehabilitation/ Orthopaedic together with the interdisciplinary team will provide a specialist rehabilitation service for persons with orthopaedic and acquired and progressive neurological conditions.The CNS will act as a liaison between acute and Community Neuro and Ortho Rehabilitation Services, and other support agencies.The appointment of the CNS is an essential element in the provision of effective, high quality, integrated care for those with neuro and ortho rehabilitative need.They will work as a key member of the Beaumont Lodge multidisciplinary Team providing a person-centred quality service.This specialist practice will encompass a major clinical focus which comprises assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care given to the individual and their families.They will be responsible for planning, developing, co-ordinating and evaluating the service to meet the needs of individuals and the objectives of the MDT.They will participate in the development and monitoring of services in conjunction with the team.The post involves working autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team within a community setting.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
