The Head of Investor Relations is responsible for managing relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders. The role is also responsible for effectively communicating the company's financial performance, growth strategies, and investment opportunities to shareholders and the investment community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute investor relations strategies: Devise comprehensive strategies to attract and retain investors, ensuring accurate and timely communication of financial results, business updates, and market insights.
* Engage with stakeholders: Cultivate strong relationships with shareholders, analysts, and financial institutions, serving as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and providing insights on the company's financial outlook. Convey a strong, consistent and well understood investment message
* Financial reporting and analysis: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to prepare financial reports, earnings releases, and presentations for investors, demonstrating transparency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Capital market intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment, providing valuable insights to senior management and the Board of Directors to inform strategic decision-making.

* Regulatory knowledge: Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards (such as IFRS or GAAP), and compliance requirements.
* Data analysis: Proficiency in analyzing financial data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to provide accurate and timely insights to investors and senior management.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting - Master’s degree is preferred
* 8-10+ years of relevant experience
* 1-2 years of experience in a managerial or similar position of seniority
* Relevant professional certifications such as CIRO/CIR is preferred
