Project Manager - Heatpumps/Solar - Renewable Energy - Ireland - Hybrid
My client is an energy company, founded by an experienced management team with proven entrepreneurial, commercial, and technical success where they develop, design, construct, operate, fund, and maintain multi-technology assets to enable an acceleration toward zero carbon for energy users.
Due to continued and sustained growth, we require an experienced Project Manager to support a range of renewable projects across Ireland including 1MW to 20MW heatpump projects and 300KW to 50MW solar projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the hands-on project management from initial design through to commissioning and post-installation support.
Responsibilities:
1. Client interfacing and engagement responsibilities.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, executing plans to achieve agreed outcomes.
3. Oversee day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors/electricians and internal finishes.
4. Management of assigned budget and resources for the projects.
5. Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibility for your projects, ensuring the highest levels of health, safety, and quality.
6. Technical point of contact to clients.
7. Lead and coordinate project activities in alignment with company standards and client satisfaction goals.
8. Manage the project in line with production targets, ensuring subcontractors meet program deadlines, managing the subcontractors' long-term and short-term programs, monitoring their performance.
9. Provide leadership, technical expertise, and management throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager role in construction, ideally with solar and/or heatpump projects in Ireland.
2. Bachelor's degree in construction management or Civil Engineering.
3. Knowledge of quality and safety management systems.
4. IT proficiency with the ability to generate detailed site reports.
5. Ability to drive projects and work within strict deadlines.
6. In-depth understanding of health and safety requirements within Irish construction sites.
7. 5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering roles ideally.
8. Full driver's license.
9. Work on site 3 days a week (Galway and Limerick).
