Windmill Healthcare is seeking a part-time Receptionist to become a member of our Care Team at Abbot Close Care Centre in Askeaton, Co. Limerick. The position requires working three days a week, specifically Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. This role is available to cover Maternity Leave from June 9, 2025, until December 2025.
The receptionist will co-ordinate with the Director of Nursing for the day-to-day running of the Nursing Home.
Responsibilities:
1. Greeting visitors, residents, and employees in a positive and friendly manner.
2. Screening, answering, and forwarding telephone calls.
3. Ensuring the reception area is kept neat and tidy.
4. Assisting employees and residents with queries.
5. Printing and binding documents.
6. Managing/ordering supplies for the home.
7. General clerical duties.
8. Assistance with accounts during holiday periods.
9. Any other duties deemed necessary by Director of Nursing.
Experience/Skills Required:
1. Must have previous receptionist experience.
2. Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
3. The ability to prioritise and multitask, with excellent time management skills.
4. Ability to deal with several things concurrently and manage changing priorities.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Fluent in both oral and written English.
7. Must be of a caring nature, sympathetic to the needs of all the residents.
