As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and challenging projects, making a significant impact in the field of structural engineering.Your New RoleAs a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of structural engineering solutions across a broad range of development projects. Your key responsibilities will include developing structural designs, coordinating with design team members, local authorities, statutory bodies, contractors, and clients, and leading a team of junior engineers and technicians. You will also be expected to apply your solid technical engineering knowledge and problem-solving abilities to ensure the successful completion of projects.What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will need:Chartered Engineer status (Engineers Ireland or IStructE) with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading development projects from start to finish, ideally in Ireland, the UK, or Europe.Demonstrated experience in developing structural designs for a broad range of projects.Strong coordination skills with design team members, local authorities, statutory bodies, contractors, and clients.Proven ability to lead a team of junior engineers and technicians.Solid technical engineering knowledge with strong problem-solving abilities.Good IT skills and experience with structural analysis packages such as Tekla, Tedds, Etabs, etc.Experience in developing and nurturing relationships with clients, design team members, and contractors.Flexibility and commercial awareness.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent time management and resource management skills.A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.A full driver's license is desirable, and a valid work permit to work in Ireland is essential.What You'll Get in ReturnIn return, you will have the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that values innovation and professional growth.
