Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (CNM3) plays a critical role in coordinating and managing activities and resources within the Residential Area to oversee and ensure high-quality nursing care and care delivery.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure Adult Services meet all requirements under the Health Act 2007-2013 regulations and HIQA standards for Intellectual Disability Services.
* Act as a Person in Charge under the Health Act 2007-2013 regulation when required.
* Manage resources, plan staffing, roster staff, develop staff, supervise, facilitate communication, and provide professional/clinical leadership.
* Support the core values and mission statement of Stewarts Care.
* Maintain confidentiality on all matters and information obtained during employment.
* Promote and support the implementation of the organization's strategic plan.
* Contribute to the strategic management and planning process for Adult Services.
* Provide high-level professional and clinical leadership.
* Work with team members to ensure Adult Services meet professional standards according to national standards.
* Ensure efficient and effective use of resources, skill mix, and staff allocation in line with agreed dependency needs.
* Develop and review protocols, policies, and procedures within Adult Services with relevant personnel.
* Effectively manage workloads.
* Undertake responsibilities of the Person in Charge under legislation when required.
* Evaluate CNM1/2 performance in managerial roles.
* Regularly visit living areas, record outcomes, and findings.
* Promote protection and safeguarding of all service users.
* Develop multidisciplinary communication, collaboration, and teamwork.
* Demonstrate leadership skills and maintain high standards of clinical practice within Adult Services.
* Monitor and support care provisions within Adult Services.
