Job Description Roadstone Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Retail Supervisor in Galway.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Ensure Retail Team is operating to highest standards of Customer Care & Transport Efficiency.
Ensure Health and Safety company standards are applied.
Drive sales with existing and new customer base.
Lead and motivate a team environment.
Optimisation of retail deliveries on a daily basis.
Forward planning to ensure resources are available.
Support staff in their daily role.
Manage staff holidays / Time Off and arrange cover for same.
Complete end of month reports.
Identify any gaps in learning or opportunities for development.
Deal with any conflicts that may arise between various parties.
Build and maintain key relationships with staff of all departments, customers and drivers.
Promote and encourage a continuous learning culture.
Develop problem solving abilities within the team.
Effective stock management.
About The Role The following knowledge, skills, competencies are required for this role: Strong Leadership skills / Ability to lead a Team Trustworthy team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Detail orientated with an ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines.
Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
Knowledge of Roadstone building materials.
Full clean driver's licence.
