Senior Quantity Surveyor
Leads and develops a team of surveyors to manage all company projects, coordinating estimating and tendering functions to secure new works and grow the company's turnover.
Agrees budgets and sets commercial targets for all projects, ensuring close monitoring of commercial aspects and adequate recovery of variations.
Monitors and administers construction contracts, developing good working relationships with project stakeholders and collaborating with Project Managers and Site Management teams.
Coordinates negotiation of final accounts with clients and sub contractors, identifies and promotes new business opportunities, and provides advice on design development and constructability issues.
Requires a Quantity Surveying degree qualification and 5-10 years post-qualification experience, ideally with a range of projects including Residential, Civil, Commercial, Retail, Pharma, and Public works.
Must have strong knowledge of building detail and construction technology, excellent communication and time management skills, and good IT skills with competency in relevant surveying/accounting packages.
Candidates must hold an EU passport or Stamp 4 visa and have a strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment.
