Assurance Specialist

Broadgate has partnered up exclusively with a leading General insurance firm on the search for an Assurance Specialist for their Dublin team.
This role is ideal for an Insurance professional (APA/CIP qualified) with some experience with Compliance reviews and/or controls.
Package: Basic salary range is 35-45K + Performance bonus + Standard Benefits + Annual Salary review + Hybrid working + Outstanding company culture.
Responsibilities:
1. Help in the completion of the annual Assurance Plan ensuring a risk-based approach.
2. Completion of individual reviews including the production of written reports with clear findings, recommendations agreed with relevant senior management, and with clear ownership and achievable dates for resolution.
3. Provide advice on the design, development, and assessment of controls across the company.
4. Influence improvement in risk management and control in business processes, projects, and change management.
Requirements:
5. 3+ years of experience in Insurance, ideally in an Audit, Risk and/or Compliance role.
6. APA qualification is a minimum requirement, CIP is ideal. Other audit/risk/compliance qualifications are highly desirable.
7. Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations, such as CPC, MCC, Data Protection Acts, Solvency II, etc.
