Description: To carry out and support accounts & administration activities and to play a leading role in a new ERP implementation and continuous business improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. To work as part of a team along with the Senior administrator based in Dublin, for administration duties including emails, data entry, customer communication, provision of reports/Pos, etc.
2. To deal with accounts administration queries for the Soil division both internally and with the Enva group finance department.
3. To work with other Enva divisions including the weighbridge, compliance, and general group requirements.
4. To be first point of contact for phone calls/emails from outside clients and to deal with all responses in a polite, efficient and friendly manner.
5. To prepare information for month end accounts in a timely and efficient manner, as per Enva timelines/deadlines.
6. To take charge of reporting requirements for a large customer on set timelines per month including data collection from suppliers, data entry, and collation of reports.
7. To check and confirm all invoices relating to the Soil business are addressed using the correct internal finance tools and sign offs from the internal IT systems.
8. Assist with the preparation of annual budgeting & financial analysis including month end/year end accounting activities.
9. Supporting Project Managers in maintaining P&L accounts for large scale projects.
10. To prepare quotes and provide accurate pricing and sales support to all customers/internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
11. To assist in the classification of waste and management of documentation including certificates of disposal/recovery.
12. Support the logistics operations to move waste and products to reach destination on schedule.
13. Play a key role in the sales order/invoicing process.
14. Preparation of customer and monthly/annual reporting packs. Assist with ad hoc duties when required e.g. capex applications, forecasting.
15. Work with senior management team to implement a new ERP system and continuously improving the efficiency of the system.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
1. Experience in an Accounts Technician Role.
2. Experience in the Waste Industry (inc. DGSA or IMDG awareness) (not a necessity).
3. Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central and Nav (not a necessity).
4. A good working knowledge of sales/purchase invoicing and purchase order systems.
5. Excellent computer literacy with strong working knowledge/experience in Excel essential.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Excellent numeric and organisational skills.
8. Ability to work methodically through problems with excellent attention to detail.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
