The primary responsibility of the Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer is to provide daily support to production operations, clean utilities and associated maintenance.
12 month contract initially.

Requirements: Honours Engineering Degree with relevant experience Proficient in English 5-10 years working in biotech engineering, operations, or manufacturing with deep technical experience in specific unit operations related to biotech manufacturing.
Knowledge of GMP'S and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day operation's support related to the site instrumentation.
This includes working with Technical Services and Operations personnel to trouble shoot issues, making changes to instrumentation in line with site change control procedures and site standards and responding to system events.
Provide oversight of the calibrations that will be performed in the CMMS system, GMARS.
This will require work with the contractors that will be performing calibrations to ensure information is being documented appropriately, correct standards are being used.
Provide engineering support to both maintenance and operation in area of expertise.
Ensure maintenance program is appropriate for biotech operations.
Ensure maintenance measures are in place and take appropriate action.
Follow up on issues identified by either production or through the maintenance program.
Raise, investigate and complete deviations as appropriate.
Ensure the maintenance procedures are always appropriate and audit ready.
Ensure Job Plans, datasheets and the computerised Maintenance management systems are always appropriate and audit ready.
Provide technical leadership and progress improvement opportunities.
Provide direction to project engineering to ensure consistency with current practice and standard.
Be an enabler for improvements in process.
Identify and lead reliability improvements.
