Our Health, Safety and Environment department is looking for an HSE
Advisor, to support Operation & Maintenance business line, who will
have the following responsibilities:
* Conduct periodic safety inspections and audits in the field.
* Manage and investigate first steps of accidents and incidents(reporting to HSE Coordinator O&M).
* Manage PPE, work uniforms & equipment.
* Coordinate with HSE Coordinator and assist HSE related activities.
* Elaborate, revise and update HSE work procedures and instructions.
* Prepare and update HSE statistical tracking and trending data.
* Keep updated regarding all relevant HSE laws, codes of practice and standards for the area.
* Provide assistance to the HSE Coordinator with clients’ HSE requirements and assist in compliance.
* Assist in implementing and maintaining the HSE Management System.
* Assist with developing HSE Plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as local client requirements.
* Assist with the development and implementation of appropriate location emergency response systems.
* Provide HSE Coordinator with feedback on HSE performance.
* Conduct HSE presentations and training to employees as required.
* Conduct HSE audits and inspections to O&M sites;
* Assist work site personnel and Health and Safety Management in the development of work site HSE promotions and campaigns.
* Assist in the promotion of awareness of HSE requirements with all personnel.
* Conduct administrative tasks related to the position.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Recognized EHS qualification such as NEBOSH certification.
* At least 1 year of experience in the field of EHS (Renewable Energy Sector will be a plus).
* Previous experience as an HSE Advisor or similar HSE role.
* Good understanding of HSE management procedures, standard sand regulations.
* Good knowledge and experience of Irish HSE standards and legislation.
* Membership of IOSH or similar is desirable.
* Degree or Diploma in health and safety is highly desirable.
* Experience working with Irish HSE standards is a plus.
* Fluent in English (mandatory).
* Proficient in the use of MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Full Driving license (B class), with the flexibility to travel as required to other sites.
