Job Summary
">
A Data Centre Technician will be responsible for supporting the deployment of on-site data centre physical infrastructure, installing and troubleshooting cables and hardware, and handling data-bearing devices. The role requires a basic knowledge of computer hardware and components, as well as experience handling/maintaining technical equipment or machinery.

Key Responsibilities
">
Supporting the deployment of on-site data centre physical infrastructure
">
Installing, replacing, and troubleshooting cables and hardware
">
Handling data-bearing devices (e.g., hard drives, solid-state drives)
">
Working within a ticket-based environment
">
Movement of equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting equipment
">
Assisting the Data Centre Inventory and Asset Management Team with shipping/receiving and inventory management, as required
">
Qualifications
">
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
">
Experience handling/maintaining technical equipment or machinery
">
Preferred Qualifications:
">
Experience supporting IT equipment or related technology
">
Applicable certifications: CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC)
">
Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance
">
Able to communicate effectively
">
Proficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams
">
Desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills
">
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and/or holidays
