Mobile Services Support Engineer (JN -122024-405014) Dublin City Centre, Republic of Ireland
We are seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join our client's team based in Dublin. This team is responsible for global cloud service and provides 24/7 cloud service stability and security services, with a focus on ensuring reliability, availability, monitoring/alerting, and capacity planning within the EU region.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor mission-critical, customer-facing systems across public cloud environments.
2. Work closely with global SRE teams to assist in daily services/applications maintenance and identify improvements in deployment approaches.
3. Provide 24/7 on-call support and develop and deliver reports on service metrics.
Requirements:
1. Excellent communication skills and critical problem-solving abilities.
2. Comfortable analyzing complex technical issues while responding within strict SLAs.
3. Fast learner, self-motivated, and enjoys taking on new challenges.
4. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications or equivalent experience in IT/Internet distributed systems or SaaS/PaaS management.
5. Experience with Linux environments, network technologies, and monitoring tools.
6. Systematic problem-solving approach and effective communication skills.
7. Knowledge of programming/scripting languages and certification in ITIL or understanding of DevOps environment and ISO27001/CSA-STAR standards is advantageous.
