The ICT Support & Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing IT projects and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. This role involves collaboration with various departments to support the company's digital initiatives and improve overall IT efficiency. Remote with potentially 2 days per week in Dublin office, or as requested.
FuturEnergy Ireland is a Microsoft house with a fully virtual M365 environment. A 3rd party service provider is responsible for delivering an end-to-end managed service and helpdesk function.
It is the responsibility of the ICT Support & Relationship Manager to oversee the smooth running of this managed service contract and provide 1st level support to the FuturEnergy Ireland team.
Key Responsibilities:
SharePoint Administration:
1. Creating new SharePoint sites to support the business.
2. Granting and managing external access and SharePoint permissions.
3. Implementing a solution for full visibility of permissions and sharing.
4. Providing best practice guidelines to users and setting up back-end configurations.
5. Resolving issues related to SharePoint Online (SPOL).
6. Implementing new folder structures and data migration.
7. Providing SPOL training to groups or individuals.
8. Setting up and maintaining workflows and sensitivity labeling.
General IT Administration:
1. Managing IT subscriptions and licenses.
2. Managing new starter setups and ordering IT equipment.
3. Keeping IT policies up to date and aligned with service provider.
4. Approving, monitoring, and controlling hardware and software, including audits for usage and value.
5. Ownership of cyber security risks and managing the KnowBe4 portal.
6. Conducting ICT onboarding for new starters and providing training.
7. Managing offboarding with leavers.
8. Handling other ad-hoc IT-related activities as they arise.
Account Management with External IT Service Provider:
1. Primary point of contact with external IT service provider.
2. Relationship management to ensure ongoing good relations & ensure external IT service providers meeting all contractual obligations.
3. Working with IT service providers to implement improvements & efficiencies across IT environment.
Leveraging new Technologies:
1. Advocating the use of new technologies including Power BI, Copilot, AI, etc.
2. Implementing solutions for new technologies, where warranted.
Experience:
1. 3 – 5 years’ experience in ICT Support or a similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of SharePoint administration and general IT administration.
3. Liaison between technical and business stakeholders.
4. Experience with SPOL, Teams, and CSI tagging.
5. Familiarity with IT controls, audits, and cyber security practices.
6. Experience in training and development within an IT context.
