Payroll Administrator (Fixed Term Contract 9 Months)
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team at Panda in Fassaroe, Bray, Co. Wicklow.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to process end-to-end payrolls for approximately 1,300 employees on a weekly basis and 250 employees on a monthly basis. The successful candidate will have experience working with high-volume payrolls and possess excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Weekly Payrolls:
o Download timesheets from the Time and Attendance system and import hours into the Payroll system
o Download RPNs from ROS and update employee records and permanent payments/deductions
o Perform manual adjustments/calculations and data entry into the Payroll system
o Ensure accuracy and integrity of data before emailing payslips to employees
o Upload Payroll data and ERR to Revenue via ROS
o Create and upload bank files to the online portal
o Generate required Payroll reports and reconciliations, including the P30 return
* Monthly Payrolls:
o Process 4 monthly payrolls for approximately 250 employees
* Third-Party Deductions and Payments:
o Administer and reconcile third-party payroll deductions and payments, including Health Insurance, Pension, Christmas Savings, Sports & Social, etc.
* Supporting Documentation:
o Complete forms and letters relating to Department of Social Protection applications, mortgage applications, confirmation of employment, etc.
* Communication:
o Respond efficiently and professionally to queries received from employees and relevant stakeholders through the central Payroll Mailbox
* Compliance and Controls:
o Maintain effective controls and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and Revenue requirements
o Ensure accurate and up-to-date files and records, maintaining confidentiality and an audit trail
* Ad-Hoc Tasks:
o Perform manual calculations of payments and deductions
o Assist with Time and Attendance administration as required
o Involvement in cross-functional and cross-divisional project work as relevant to the position and support in delivering key projects
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2+ years' experience processing end-to-end high-volume payrolls with regular changes
* IPASS certification
* Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including intermediate to advanced Excel (vlookups and pivot tables)
* Experience of in-house Payroll systems, preferably Quantum
* Time and Attendance system experience, preferably TMS
